Subscription model: You pay a fixed monthly fee whether you teach 300 lessons or none. Multiply it by twelve, divide by the months you actually trade, and that is your real cost per trading month. For a five-month season it is well over double the headline price.
Commission model: The platform deducts a percentage from every booking you take. Nothing to pay in a quiet month, but the cost grows with every euro you charge.

How payouts work
SurfSlot uses Stripe Connect for all payments:

- Standard Stripe processing fees apply (1.4% + €0.25 for EU cards)
- Payouts to your bank on your preferred schedule
- Full tax reporting and invoicing
