Build the operating system for surf schools

Help us squash bugs and ship small edits & tasks across our React / TypeScript stack. Comfortable reading existing code, writing clean UI changes in Tailwind, and touching SQL when needed. If you're curious, careful, and enjoy moving fast without breaking things, you'll thrive.

• Triage incoming bugs from the SurfSlot dashboard and booking widget
• Pick up small UI tweaks, copy edits, and configuration changes
• Tech stack: React 18, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Vite, Supabase (PostgreSQL + Edge Functions)
• Coordinate with the founder on priorities each morning
• Verify changes in the live preview before pushing

Same role as the GMT developer — bug fixing and small task work across our React / TypeScript stack — but covering the Australian / Asia-Pacific timezone so our schools always have someone on call during their daytime hours.

• Hand over open work to the GMT developer at end of day

Own the full sales cycle for SurfSlot — from prospecting surf, SUP and coasteering schools, to demoing the product, onboarding them, and staying close after they go live.

• Prospecting & Outreach — identify surf, SUP, and coasteering operators, research each one, and reach out via email, phone, WhatsApp, Instagram DM or in person. Every prospect goes into the SurfSlot CRM after first contact, no exceptions.
• Relationship Building & Sales — follow up consistently, understand each school's pain (manual bookings, WhatsApp chaos, waiver headaches), run live demos using the SurfSlot test profile, handle objections, and escalate any pricing exceptions before committing.
• Onboarding & Platform Setup — guide schools through the onboarding form, build out their profile (products, beaches, instructors, transport, equipment), configure seasonal pricing, waivers and payments, then install and test the booking widget end-to-end.
• Handover & Maintenance — make sure the school is confident in the dashboard before going Live, point them to the in-app AI help, flag issues to the product team, and stay in periodic contact for satisfaction, upsell and referrals.
